Mariam (Mari for short) is a seventeen year old trainee beautician who has recently moved to Lockhart from the UK with her father, David James Eldridge to live with her grandmother, Etta Harriet Eldridge. She's a very 'girly girl' and a bit of a pampered princess - she is happiest when she's shopping or partying with friends.

As Mari is new she needs to meet some aquaintances. She would most likely run into people at the spa she works at, Lockheart Boutique Spa, where she could be doing nails, massaging or waxing eyebrows. Outside of work she could meet up with fellow dog-walkers when walking her pooch Eric the Chihuahua or maybe just run into people out shopping.
Mari could quite easily make an enemy or two - she can be shallow at times and judges people on their appearances all the time. She could just rub some people up the wrong way with her ever so slightly false attitude towards people or her argumentativeness.
She's a bit of a flirt but girls don't need to lock up their boyfriends when she's around, she's not a man-eater. She's got plans in the future for a rich, romantic guy that can shower her in gifts, dine out every week and lend her his credit card for shopping sprees - if that fails, she's happy just to have a fun-filled romantic fling.
Mari also does makeup tutorial and haul youtube videos. She could do with a model or two to help her out and practice on, or maybe a co-presenter.
