JOEY KENNETH REED
TWENTY-THREE. JOURNALIST. RUPERT GRINT.

I'm not used to being on this side of the desk. You see i'm a journalist and i'm usually the one that interviews the people... not the other way around. Oh please! Don't look at me like that. It's a local newspaper I work at and we only post the truth. We investigate, interview, and find out facts that are considered reliable. Trust me, i'm one of those people that hate when lies are spread and I make sure to get the facts right. I just honestly love to write. It's rather surprising when people see that i'm a journalist and i'm able to communicate with people to get answers...
You see i'm actually not much of a talker. I really just sit back and observe and keep to myself, unless you're a friend of mine because I have a few really close-knit friends I adore. However, other than that I'm honestly not the biggest talker out there. I'm able to talk when needed like right now... it's almost like an act at how outgoing I am in interviews, I suppose I was trained well within my job and college.
Ok. Well, I mean, I'm not shy around the people I trust and care about. If you're a close friend, my little brother, or mother you'd see a different side of me. Slightly more outgoing and cracking random jokes. But usually around strangers i'm pretty quiet... guess it all depends on my mood..
It's interesting how you're wandering around my home town interviewing random people. But I suppose these interviews of residents and tourists will help show off our community a little more. It's really not a horrible place to live, I grew up here. My name? Oh sorry, I thought I said that already. I'm Joey Kenneth Reed. Nope not Joseph, just Joey. I suppose my parents that that was more unique then Joe.
Speaking of my parents, i'm really close with my mother she used to be a nurse for the navy, that's actually how she met my father. He was visiting a friend that had been injured in the navy because he was a navy seal and I suppose it was love at first sight. I was born a year after they were married, and two years later my little brother Danny was born. Danny and myself are also close. It's really just my father who’s rather distant from us all. He is a bit of a hard nose. Not a bad person... but not the easiest person to talk to. My mom says what he experienced in the Navy changed him a lot. I feel it's amazing my mom stuck by his side through it all. She is a strong woman, and I love her dearly.
..
Ahh. I don't, well... I know it sounds like I have just an average life, and I really do. I guess if you're looking for dirt the biggest dirt on me would be i've recently been diagnosed with Testicular cancer. They say it's nothing too major to worry about and i'm just staying positive, i'm just glad it's not lung cancer of the sorts.
Besides I must admit even though i'm stuck going to the hospital all the time now... there’s this really beautiful nurse. But, I didn't say that.
Anyways that's it really. You dug the most out of me you could. Nice talking to you.
